Measuring is especially important when ordering designer clothing and import fashions from Europe, Asia, and Australia, because they each have different standards for sizing. Many international & imported brands are 1 to 2 sizes smaller than US sizes. When in doubt, size up! You can always tailor to your size if it is too large. 

REMEMBER to ALWAYS check the product's size table within the photos of the product if not listed directly in the description.
